Bolton, MA - The "Play for Will" fundraiser is a basketball game between the Central MA Spartans Special Olympics program, and staff from Nashoba Regional High School. The game raises money for the Tecumseh Foundation and the Jimmy Fund while the Spartans experience the once-a-year opportunity to showcase their skills for a crowd 1000's of Spartan fans. The 2014 tilt was a classic and with your support 2015 will pump-up the volume! Please tell everyone and follow us on twitter @TecumsehFNDN for updates and events.
Team Tepper was started to participate in the Relay for Life and now the Jimmy Fund when Leah Tepper was diagnosed with Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma in May of 2010. Leah passed away in November of 2012, also at the age of 19. Will, Leah and Brendan, the Head Coach of the Spartans were friends and neighbors since preschool. We mention Brendan since he is the guiding force driving the event. We would also like to acknowledge Ben Hurley's efforts over the last few years. Thanks for all your hard work both on and off the court. To learn more about the Spartans visit: www.facebook.com/SOMASpartans
